1941 Ford Pick-Up Truck

1941 Ford pickup – Purchased in July 1997 from an old friend (3rd. owner)
living in Leesburg Virginia. After restoration in 1968, this vehicle spent part of its life
in Orange County California displayed in a Harley Davidson Dealership. It came
east in early 1997 via moving van as a result of the original owner’s estate
settlement. This information was provided by the original owner’s son
who inherited this truck.

This vehicle had very low mileage when I purchased it, but needed extensive
chassis modifications. I have driven my old truck extensively for the past
eight years and it has proven to be most reliable and a joy to drive.

This is the same type of vehicle I drove while growing up on my family’s
southern Maryland tobacco farm. It brings back many childhood memories.
It was fun then and still fun today to drive with nothing power - except horsepower!
We didn’t have much horsepower in the old days, but it was the first beginning.
As you know, young boys can be real dare devils .The drive train has been
modernized to stand up to today’s conditions, but the appearance is still 1941.
